Sure. Let's say you buy a spot for one year for $50 (Rs. 2250/year, $4.17/month, Rs 187.50/month) on July 4, 2006. Starting on that date, The Crorepati guarantees you 25,000 unique visitors will see your ad. On July 3, 2007 (one year later), if we look at the total for the year and see that The Crorepati has received 24,999 unique visitors or less, you get all $50 back - no questions asked.
However, if on July 3, 2007, we see that The Crorepati received 25,000 or more unique visitors, you will have had 25,000 unique visitors to the site who've seen your ad. This means that you've paid less than $.002/visitor (90 paise/visitor). If the site gets 50,000 unique visitors, you'd only have paid $.001/visitor (45 paise/visitor). There is not a cheaper, better advertising solution out there.

The first 20 Crorepati spots are being offered at a discounted price of $50/year (Rs. 2250/year, $4.17/month, Rs 187.50/month). At this time, 16 of these spots remain. The next 20 spots will be priced based on demand, and we anticipate that they will be priced significantly higher.
In terms of who can advertise, it does not matter. Start-up or established companies can benefit from The Crorepati. Indian companies looking to create awareness amongst Indians should advertise as should foreign companies looking to target Indian consumers and businesses. The visitors to the site come from India and other countries where a significant number of Indians reside, i.e. the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. Of course, sites which are hateful, lewd, adult-oriented, etc are not allowed.

Where did The Crorepati idea come from? |
